"No Before, No After"

It was a big surprise to find this long-read on the web-site of a company from which I buy make-up, and even more of a surprise to find that it contained so much useful perspective. It is, only glancingly, about make-up but more about appearance and very much about the whole idea of transition and it firmly pushes back at the media preoccupation with the beginnings and ends of life-journeys. Even the photographs, though expertly produced, have a certain authenticity about them.
