First things first,- The Federalist is,- "an American conservative online magazine and podcast that covers politics, policy, culture, and religion, and publishes a newsletter". It apparently had a bad record of misinforming during the pandemic. America seems to be the world-home of conspiracists and this article almost exactly fits the template of conspiracy assertions - politics, big money, philanthropy, institutions are all triggers for what is essentially an overheated denunciation of our rights to determine our gender identity and to receive support in so doing. You have been warned. At the same time the idea that medicine is a heavy industry which maximizes profits does not apply exclusively to its trans commitments. One more irony is that this article about who is funding transgender is in a publication which refuses to declare where its funding comes from.
