She was the first ever transgender person cast to play a regular transgender character in a leading UK soap opera, and as such is the most prolific trans actress in UK television history." Annie was brilliant in a radio documentary feature for the BBC recently and is a strong advocate for trans rights and tolerance. She has a balanced perspective on the current issues and certainly deserves any award people give her. Respect.
