Rowan Moore has offered his experiences of being a parent of a trans child before so his views on the ongoing saga of Keira Bell carry weight. The support for the use of puberty blockers and the child's participation in decisions about their own body and identity seems to be an argument won but that won't stop particular lobbies from exploiting it as an issue. The Tavistock's future is now under review and Mermaids is under attack from right-wing commentators. We need to stand by them and against all misrepresentation.
