Trans In The World - Mandy In The Pearl River Delta - Hong Kong Festival

Just before I left Hong Kong for the mainland part of my journey round the Pearl River Delta I performed as part of an alternative festival by the Harbour where the famous Star Ferry had used to land. I decided to offer two of my regular performance works - one with a paper dress which on this occasion people wrote on, many of them the Filipino maids who gather together on a Sunday to eat and socialize. The other work invites people to pose me for a photograph and I take their address in return so that I can send them the picture later. It was all very lovely. On the trip I had wanted to make contact with many people and not just be a trans traveller.
