Miss Vera's Cross-dress For Success

Miss Vera specializes in transvestism and cross-dressing and has made wonderful second career of getting men into womanliness after a remarkable first set of careers in Finance and film-acting (and working with Robert Mapplethorpe). There are other books by her but this is my main reference. She can be very arch and funny and she kindly gave me an audience in her New York apartment on my first Round The World In Drag journey in 2001 where she dispensed wisdom and good advice - and refreshments.
