IF IT REALLY IS WARTIME WE MUST TELL BETTER STORIES

I have been planning this piece for some time, but only just caught up with myself to write it. In previous blog posts I was keen to avoid using the term Gender-Wars (and still am - and there appears to be a highly-debatable game out there with the name ) I've recently become aware of how under attack we are in the gender community, and it seemed to me that we needed to think about what war means to us and how to deal with it.
